I am a Surgical Oncologist practicing in Mumbai, India.

Over the years it’s been heartening to witness the attitude towards cancer swing from one of abject terror and sheer despair towards one of hope and optimism.

In my thirty years as a surgical oncologist I’ve had my share of both success stories as well as sad endings. Involving a spectrum of cases ranging from the simple and straightforward to the bizarre and unexpected.
